The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, announces its plan to regulate ABA providers in the coming months. As guidelines are provided, the Guiding Light Team will ensure that we are inline with all regulations and provide you with informational as we receive it. This is wonderful news for employees and employers in the field and something that qualified and dedicated professionals have been asking for.

The Ontario Government made an announcement this morning, 29th July, 2019, stating that they will be investing and additional $278 million dollars into the Ontario Autism Program. This amount will bring the total annual amount to $600 million.
​
The Ontario Government will be relying on the Autism Advisory Panel to spearhead the new needs-based and sustainable Ontario Autism Program (OAP) by April 2020.
